Who's Here Solicitor Services
Crispin Chappell
As we say, we are not at all like international law firms such as Clifford Chance, although interestingly Chappell's initials are also CC. In his time, Chappell has been an actor, van driver, graphic designer & social worker among other things, before going to law in the early 1990's. He is moody and difficult to work with. Although he can sound like an absolute charmer on the phone, beware! - he can change in a flash. Out of the office he enjoys (and his family endures) some ham-fisted DIY and he wishes he could go on holiday every other week. He used to be the worst golfer in Sussex, (but he doesn't get invited out any more).
Lee Pascoe
Jovial, engaging and approachable, Lee just loves what he does, with a passion and drive which has to be seen to be believed.
He has been a solicitor since 1993 and has specialised in exclusively in famliy law for most of his career in the law.
He lives (a safe distance from the office) in the heart of East Sussex countryside. He likes cycling and real ale (although in order to aviod spillage not necessarily together) and has a dog called Monty
Julia Roberts (no, no, this is the OTHER Julia Roberts)
Longest serving member of the team having been here since 1992. Our receptionist and Lee's assistant, she says she does the work of 3 people. (If only she'd give us the names of the other two, we'd sack them).
Sue Chappell
Yes, we're a family firm and there's nothing like a "jobs for the girls" approach to ensure that the massive wealth generated by this business stays in the family where it so deservedly belongs. Sue combines work on family matters and wills with accounts and administration (therefore also doing the job of 3 people). She is however not too good with IT or other gadgets: for example she is still trying to work out how to set the laser printer to stun.
And finally,
Foxy and Monty (the dogs).

They trot in with their respective owners every so often to make sure they are getting on with their work. They sigh with occasional boredom (as do the humans) but Foxy livens up her day by sharing her master's sandwiches and growling at some of the other occupants of the building to whom she takes an arbitrary dislike. At one stage the dogs were planning to join Pluto and co at Disneyland, but then they realised they were already at a Mickey Mouse organisation…
