Employment Tribunals, Contracts, Compromise Agreements and Unfair Dismissal
We regularly advise employees and employers on matters such as employment contracts, compromise agreements, tribunal claims and other work-related issues. It is actually quite an interesting area of the law as it is constantly developing and so keeps us on our toes. (On his toes, Chappell rises to 6 foot 6 inches…). Some areas of employment law make our heads hurt, however, for example the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations, although this seems to be quite a common complaint.
We can't offer legal aid for employment law (sorry) and we don't offer free advice either (sorry again).
However, we can offer a first consultation (of up to an hour) at a fixed fee of £90 plus VAT before our standard terms and fees kick in.
