How can we help you?
Well,
We'll have a brief initial chat with you about family law matters without charge or obligation. Although we no longer do legal aid, we can still tell you if you might be eligible.
If you instruct us to deal with an injury claim, in nearly every case we won't ask you to pay us anything at all before, during or after your claim.
In the other areas of law we deal with, we offer a fixed fee first consultation of up to an hour at £90 plus VAT.
If you're approaching us for the first time, it's best not to email us asking us to reply with legal advice. It's often dangerous to give out advice without knowing the whole story. That's why it is best for us to talk to you, to get the full picture, before we can advise properly.
Involving a lawyer doesn't necessarily mean that we will require you to part with your hard-earned cash the moment you walk through our door. We try to be as flexible as we can in discussing and agreeing the funding of your case. And, while no lawyers are exactly cheap, we hope you will find we offer value for money

If none of the above appeals, you may be able to get information, guidance and in some instances advice without paying legal fees at all.
- Local Citizens Advice Bureaux have trained advisers in many areas of the law.
- The DirectGov website www.direct.gov.uk contains lots of useful information on various areas of the law.
- You could look at www.consumerdirect.gov.uk if you have had a problem with goods and services and want to know your rights are.
- Some law centres and other law firms may offer free advice. Indeed some of the posh firms we've heard about sometimes do a bit work without charge and call it "pro bono". (This seems odd to us as we would have thought that the lead singer of U2 has enough money to pay for legal advice).
